Moulton and Milligan – Vocabulary of the Greek NT
Moulton, James and Milligan, George – Vocabulary of the Greek New Testament (Lexicon) (Updated) 1.1
Moulton and Milligan – Vocabulary of the Greek NT is a Greek lexicon focusing on the Papyrus Greek. While classical Greek is the primary focus of most lexicons, Greek, as spoken in Egypt, is a helpful cross study.
The Vocabulary of the Greek Testament Illustrated from the Papyri and Other Non-Literary Sources, by James Hope Mouton and George Milligan, is a classic among Greek academics.
This resource is a lexicon of NT vocabulary found also in “non-literary” papyri (e.g., letters, legal documents, etc.) and has been reprinted many times since the 1920s.
Bullinger Bible Commentary from Companion Bible.
This is an excellent Brethren commentary on every verse of the Bible with some notes on each book of the Bible. clear here
The source documents used are from hordes of papyri that were found in the late 1800′s and early 1900′s, focused on papyri usage of vocabulary items that occur in the Greek New Testament. This resource examines how these under-utilized papyri use the same words found in the Greek New Testament. That’s why this resource is largely complementary to BDAG–the source documents are different!
Quite simply: There is no other Greek resource like this one, especially for a fascinating glimpse of how NT vocabulary was also used “on the street” in the earliest Christian centuries.
About the Digitization of this Resource
This resource was digitized and keyed to Strong’s numbers by Allan Loder.
[Editorial Note: This is not the poor quality version previously available for theWord! This resource was digitized by an expert in Greek, so the Greek is not garbled. Mr. Loder also keyed the Strong’s numbers to the entries, making this resource vastly superior to others.]

These links are to download NT (or LXX) Bibles in Greek, or literal English translations from original Greek. I do not recommend anything here not because these Bibles do or do not have value in Bible Study, but in that in recommending anything, I will start discussions and arguments into the user's view of these works as poor or better one than another. If you can read Greek and therefore you are here, you should have your opinions formed or are in researching it for yourself. Buyer beware is all I can say. Everything here is free by the way.
